InFocus - May/June 2009Do you have compelling photograph that captures a transcendent moment of an international education experience?

Each issue of International Educator (IE) includes a gripping photo accompanied by a short essay describing the significance of the photo on the back page. This feature is called “In Focus.”

We invite you to submit your photo along with a brief description of why this image is important to your understanding of a person, place, idea, or incident from your experience in international education.

The photo could be of a simple moment on your home campus involving international students, a major event in an exotic location, or anything in between.

Editors of IE select among the submissions which photos and essays will ultimately appear in the magazine. For submission details, please contact [email protected].

Click on the images to view a few previous examples of photos and essays published earlier this year.
