The NAFSA 2019 Annual Conference & Expo promises to be one of the largest international education events ever. With more than 9,000 international educators expected to attend from over 100 countries, the Expo is the best place for organizations like yours to develop sustaining partnerships and new business.

2019 Expo Sales and Dates

Booth sales will open to the public on July 16th, 2018!

Global Partners will be assigned scheduled meeting times to reserve their booths based on their Global Partnership level and history of participation with NAFSA. In early March 2018, NAFSA’s Organizational Advancement team sent partners an invitation asking them to confirm their exhibit booth meeting. Global Partners meetings occurred during the following time periods:

2019 Expo Sales Billing, Cancellations, and Refunds

All Booth Rentals

  • All exhibitors must provide a 50% deposit payment at the time of the booth rental
  • If paying by check or wire transfer, the 50% deposit must be paid within 30 days of the booth rental.
  • All booths must be paid in full by January 25, 2019. Failure to submit full booth payment by this date may result in penalties such as forfeiture of space, exclusion from the printed conference materials, or a delay in receiving exhibitor services information.

Global Partner Booth Rentals

  • Global Partner discounts are automatically applied to all 2019 exhibit booth reservations upon purchase. However, current Global Partners that do not renew their partnership for 2019 will have the booth fee changed to the standard fee and may have their booth reassigned.
  • Any Global Partner who has not paid their 50% deposit by the determined due date may have to forfeit their space. The forfeited space will be returned to the general inventory for non-Global Partner booth sales opening on July 16th, 2018.

Cancellations and Refunds

  • Cancellation of exhibit booth space must be in writing and postmarked by the cancellation deadline of March 8, 2018.
  • Deposits are nonrefundable, regardless of the date of cancellation.
  • Cancellations are subject to a liquidated damages payment of 75% of the total exhibit booth rental because of the difficulty of determining and proving NAFSA's actual losses. There will be no refunds for cancellations received after 5:00 p.m. on March 8, 2019 (EST).
  • No shows shall be treated as cancellations. Upon cancellation (including no shows), NAFSA has the right to resell the space and retain all revenue collected.
