IEM Buddy Program

Annual Conference & ExpoNAFSA 2018 Call for Proposals

The 2017 application process is now closed.

The International Enrollment Management (IEM) Knowledge Community (KC) addresses the needs of professionals working in admissions, recruitment, enrollment management, marketing, credential evaluation, intensive English programs, sponsored program administration, and overseas advising and counseling.

The IEM Buddy Program matches professionals new to IEM and the NAFSA Annual Conference with professionals who know the field and have previously attended an annual conference.

The IEM mentors will help the IEM mentees navigate the annual conference and inform them of networking opportunities at the conference and beyond. Mentors should be available for questions leading up to the annual conference in Los Angeles and will build lasting relationships with their mentees that will continue throughout the year.

There is no minimum or maximum experience needed to be a buddy–all are welcome! Buddy pairs will be notified and introduced by email no later than early May so they can connect prior to the conference. Buddy pairs will decide on how and when to meet based on their own arrival times and schedules. If you are interested in participating in this year's program, please complete the KC IEM Buddy Program Application below. The deadline to apply is Friday, April 28.
