  1. BMore Abroad works within Baltimore and the state of Maryland to increase access to study abroad for local students, and engaging professionals, students, and alumni in the holistic advancement of education abroad as a field through networking events, training sessions, and conferences.

  2. They work to strengthen international education across the commonwealth through collaborative projects and serving as an advocate for international education at the state level.

  1. This group meets monthly in Philadelphia area between the months of September and June with no set meetings in November or in May due to NAFSA conferences.
  2. Their meetings focus on a range of topics, including Intercultural issues, simulation games, local Resources, etc. They pay close attention to international student services.

  1. This is a local NAFSA group that includes all the schools in the Pittsburgh area and the surrounding areas. They meet the 4th Tuesday of the month during the academic year.
  2. They do not meet in May due to the NAFSA annual conference.

  1. The membership of this networking group consists of the professionals responsible for international students and study abroad at the 14 state system universities.
  2. Semi-annual meetings are held; one in Harrisburg at the Dixon University Center and the other on one of our campuses. We meet to discuss issues related to international students, study abroad, and opportunities for collaboration.
