Boston: Annual Conference Update

May 13, 2015

The Annual Conference in Boston is nearly upon us and we could not be more excited. This past year the Rainbow SIG’s membership accomplished a great deal in service to our students and NAFSA community. Of particular note is the Rainbow Scholarship and Silver Lining fund which attracted over $15,000 in scholarship for LGBTQ students seeking support to study abroad. In addition to multiple sessions and poster presentations, the Rainbow SIG will be hosting two special events. First, for founding members and donors to the scholarship at the $250 level and higher, we will hold a reception at Pastoral from 4pm-6pm. The Rainbow Reception will be open to our membership and the public at Club Café from 8:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m., including very fun and unique entertainment.

Come join the Rainbow SIG in all of festivities. Our Open Meeting will be held Wednesday, May 27th from 2:45 p.m.-3:45pm. Please see the conference program for the exact location. All are welcome!
