2013 Symposium Series: Leveraging Accreditation and Quality Assurance in International Higher Education

At the 2013 Symposium on Leadership, senior international education leaders from across the country and 19 countries outside of the United States convened to learn how to use the accreditation process to further the internationalization objectives of their campus. Featured speakers of the event were William Plater, senior adviser for international affairs in the Senior College and University Commission of the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC), and Mark Hay, a higher education consultant specializing in the area of quality assurance and the former executive director for quality assurance at the Council on Higher Education (CHE) in South Africa.
