The National Clearinghouse on
Disability and Exchange (NCDE) provides a list of resources
to assist people with disabilities find scholarships, fellowships, and other
sources of funding for overseas exchanges. In addition, the NCDE
Frequently Asked Funding Questions page includes suggestions and tips for
finding funding.
International education colleagues working with
U.S-based students going abroad who are involved with NAFSA at the regional
level are encouraged to offer meeting time and space for advocacy on these
issues. If you are interested in hosting a regional meeting, contact your
regional team member who focuses on education abroad issues and the co-chairs
of the Subcommittee on Underrepresentation in Education Abroad.
