Architecture for Global Learning
Architecture for Global Learning is an online professional enrichment series developed by NAFSA to help faculty, scholars, and administrators strengthen their understanding of global learning goals into concrete curricular and co-curricular experiences that are flexible, rigorous, and relevant to students.

Series II will consist of six, 60-minute e-Seminars delivered throughout the 2017-2018 academic year. Series II will include presentations and discussions with noted scholars, researchers, and practitioners focusing on responding to nationalism and xenophobia, the STEAM'D disciplines, foreign language teaching, assessment, and more.

NAFSA Research Symposium

NAFSA's inaugural Research Symposium - A Critical Discussion of Theories, Methodologies, and Practices in International Education - will provide researchers and scholars in the field of international education and related disciplines the opportunity to share their work in an academic and professional environment, as well as participate in a critical discussion of the theories, methodologies, and practices being used in their research.

Nearly every college or university makes promises that all of its graduates will be prepared to thrive in a complex, interconnected world. To make good on this promise, curricular leaders are reimagining general education program designs that give all students opportunities to develop and practice the knowledge, skills, and attitudes they need to become global learners. Educators and administrators will work with expert facilitators and in small groups to discuss how to incorporate global learning into general education programming.
