A diverse international student body on campus supports internationalization efforts and also contributes to a better college experience. To achieve this, more campuses seek to diversify student enrollment by recruiting from emerging and non-traditional top sending countries. International enrollment management practitioners must understand how to tap into these unique markets, including those dealing with political uncertainty and economic challenges.

What are these emerging markets? How can international enrollment management professionals develop successful recruitment strategies?

In this NAFSA e-Learning Seminar, expert speakers will share successful recruitment strategies, explain how to identify emerging markets, and discuss the importance of maintaining diversity in your international student recruitment efforts.

Objectives

After attending this webinar, participants will be able to:

  • Discuss the importance of diversifying student populations within their recruitment strategies;
  • Identify emerging markets for international student recruitment and strategies for reaching these markets;
  • Practice strategies for diversifying recruitment methods as demonstrated by the presenters.

The content will be relevant to international enrollment management professionals in recruitment, admissions, marketing, and advising, as well as senior international officers.
