Participants at Presidents Day NAFSA 2017 will explore the evolving challenges of leadership in a time of political and cultural uncertainty. Colleges and universities have made significant strides in preparing all students to thrive in a complex and interconnected world. However, many of the foundations of international education and global learning are under attack. During Presidents Day, participants will work with peers to identify the most pressing global issues they face on campus and hear from noted thought leaders from the academy, the media, and the international relations world to begin to imagine strategies to successfully meet these challenges.

Registration Rates

$349 – Presidents Day registration for campus presidents only. Access to the Expo Hall and general sessions are included in the registration fee.

This special program for campus leaders offers numerous opportunities to explore international partnerships and discuss pressing issues in international education across the globe. Past speakers have included Shibley Telhami, noted author and expert on peace and development in the Middle East; David Wheeler, editor of Al-Fanar Media and former editor of The Chronicle of Higher Education; Jamil Salmi, former tertiary head of the World Bank, and Simon Award winning presidents in campus internationalization from the United States, Latin America, the United Kingdom, Asia, Africa, and the Middle East.
