MSAP Meeting Schedule

Friday, May 1, 2020

Time: MSAP meeting via Zoom from 9:00 a.m.-11:00 a.m.
Title: Navigating a New Study Abroad Landscape
Moderators: Heidi Soneson (University of Wisconsin River-Falls) and Naomi Ziegler (Carleton College)
Description: This session will give us an opportunity to take a moment and think about how the coronavirus is inviting us to reflect on how we define “study abroad.” Considerations will be: What new models are emerging to address the current and immediate future world situation? Are there are some long-term modifications and innovations that are resulting from our current responses? How are our students and faculty responding to this current dynamic? The session will share some of the program models that are emerging, questions and policy considerations that are arising from these emerging models, and provide time for virtual discussion of our current thoughts and impressions. Additional details and Zoom link will be sent out shortly.
