The Conferenceship Program provides a scholarship to attend the NAFSA regional conference to an undergraduate student who is living or studying in the host state. That student must be studying education, student services, international relations or a related field.

The program's goal is to connect the NAFSA Region XI conference more directly to the local host community/state, and to introduce an undergraduate student to the field of international education. A mentor is also provided to the conferenceship recipient.

Criteria:

  • Be currently living or studying in the state in which the regional conference is held in the year of your application.
  • Be currently enrolled in an undergraduate program in education, student services, international relations, or a related field
