Central Europe Transitions
Central Europe Transitions (CET) was a set of trainings, projects, and academic/cultural events designed to enhance the experiences of students participating in the Central Europe in Comparative Perspective (CECP) program and foster a dialogue between U.S. and international scholars and students.CET commenced with reading and community assignments for all fall CECP students. At the week-long predeparture training seminar, students received intercultural training, language instruction, and background information from experts. In the spring, a symposium was hosted bringing together faculty teaching for CECP, previous and future program students, and scholars, diplomats, and artists to discuss the region.
