Diversity Issues in Study Abroad

The objective of this project was to provide information to prospective study abroad students about the minority and diversity issues that they may face in their host cultures. It also created an opportunity for returning students to contribute the wealth of their experiences to the study abroad process and gave them a forum to reflect upon issues and experiences that they had while abroad.

A survey was used to elicit responses from former study abroad participants. The results of the survey Diversity Issues in Study Abroad (452kb ) were published and distributed to others in the study abroad field.
