Explorations Reentry Program
The new strategic plan for Baldwin-Wallace College called for a variety of efforts to internationalize the campus, including an increase in number and background of students studying abroad.A new semester-long re-entry program was designed to address the readjustment issues of students. Comments from returning students in other years and literature in the field were used to inform the content and organization of the program.
The program provided:
- Useful information on the issues of reentry and readjustment
- An opportunity for continued interaction with fellow student travelers
- Campus and community activities designed to strengthen interests developed while studying abroad
Activities throughout the semester included:
- Welcome Back Week
- Saturday of Service
- On-campus involvement
- Student advisory groups
- Photo exhibit
- Brown Bag Lunch lecture series
- Finals week pizza party
