Eyes on the World Culture Series

This initiative was intended to increase U.S. students' interest and knowledge about study abroad participation in nontraditional regions of the world, thereby increasing the number of students studying in those areas.

International students from these areas were given the opportunity to share their countries and cultures with U.S. students by using presentations, food, music, and interaction in an experiential, multifaceted approach.

Five workshops were held to represent underrepresented regions: Japan, countries in South America, Hong Kong and Singapore, Taiwan, and East Africa.
