SNAP: See New Abroad Photos

As part of Barnard College's growing interest in and support of study abroad, the college initiated a photo exhibit/contest titled "SNAP: See New Abroad Photos."

More than 250 students, faculty, staff, alumnae, community members, prospective students, and families visited the five-day exhibit, which included 56 photos from 15 students representing five continents. The photos were judged by faculty in architecture, art history, and visual arts.

The project hoped to help returning study abroad students to integrate their experience into their ongoing education upon their return; by involving a broad range of community constituents including current students, prospective students, and their families.
