Interactive Video Series for Indiana

Indiana University (IU) chose an interactive video series to promote cross-cultural understanding to the K-12 community in Indiana during International Education Week 2000.

IU identified some of the newest immigrant groups in Indiana: Russians, Burmese, Bulgarians, Koreans, Thai, and Cubans and found representatives from those countries in the IU community who designed presentations about their cultures.

These presentations were then broadcast to schools across the state. Both after and during presentations, K-12 students were able to ask questions of the presenters, providing a unique opportunity for all involved.
