Creating Cultural Bridges: Promoting International Understanding

This project was a series of workshops designed to introduce international students of the Sonoma American Language Institute (SSALI) to the cultural diversity of Sonoma County.

Each workshop focused on one minority culture: African American, Latino American, Chinese American, and Islamic American. Workshops also included readings, presentations by appropriate university personnel, visits to cultural centers, and student essays, which were published in the end-of-term newsletter.
