Listening Across Cultures/Getting to Know Each Other

Benedictine University created a two-pronged project to welcome international students to the campus community and into the local DuPage community.

The Universal Buddy Program allowed teams of international students and U.S. students to design and carry out cross-cultural programs.

The DuPage Professionals Program allowed professionals from the worlds of business and education to invite international students to their workplaces. The students were exposed to the surrounding communities and they had the chance to experience the U.S. educational and business systems.
