Meaningful Dialogue: Communicating About Muslim Culture and Health Care

Cleveland State University's Department of Health Sciences presented a year-long series of lectures, video presentations, and other educational activities for the campus and general community about Islam and Muslim culture.

Events for health sciences students and community professionals included a conference about health issues specific to Muslim beliefs, such as gender, cleanliness, prayer, fasting, nutrition, etc., and the conference resulted in production of a directory for health care providers in the Northeast Ohio area.
