Building Linkages, Promoting Social Services: U.S. Students, International Students, and Community Organizations

The University of Notre Dame's Kellogg Institute for International Studies, Center for Social Concerns, and Department of Anthropology, in collaboration with the South Bend Center for the Homeless, the Charles Martin Community Center, and the South Bend Heritage Foundation, created a project that consisted of four main activities:
  1. Educational driving tour of South Bend;
  2. Private student forum;
  3. Public forum with student research presentations; and
  4. Poster exhibit.
The project also resulted in a print publication for distribution to students participating in international service projects as well as a Web-based forum for student research and information on the project.
