Intercultural Leadership Seminar

The University of Michigan's Intercultural Leadership Seminar (ILS) was a four-day pilot program that intended to bring together a diverse group of 20-30 U.S. and international University of Michigan students in an off-campus setting.

The seminar was geared toward students who were interested in expanding their knowledge of other cultures, learning more about themselves, and strengthening their intercultural leadership skills. Participants came into the seminar with significant cross-cultural experience.

Topics explored in the seminar included: an intercultural focus on communication, team building, decisionmaking, ethics, and value orientation.
