Tennessee Conference for International Leadership

The Tennessee Conference for International Leadership was designed to strengthen leadership skills among international and U.S. students through a combination of simulations exercises, workshops, and diversity sessions.

Conference activities were intended to:

• Strengthen leadership skills among international students and U.S. students;
• Promote a sense of service as an integral component of leadership;
• Promote a collegial network among international students and U.S. students;
• Recognize different styles of leadership and the influence of culture on leadership;
• Promote awareness of leadership activities at colleges and universities in Tennessee;
• Create networks of professional colleagues, friendships, and relationships with mentors that may last a lifetime; and
  
• Provide professional development for international educators in Tennessee.
