W.I.L.D. (Women's Institute for Leadership Development) in a Global Context

The Women's Institute for Leadership Development in a Global Context (W.I.L.D.) focused on increasing the number of international women participants, in order to cultivate community between international and U.S. students.

The overarching goal was to transform the existing W.I.L.D. program to incorporate the development of intercultural leadership skills and address global issues impacting women's leadership and advocacy by developing individual modules to reflect a global focus and appeal.

Workshop modules included:

• Orientation/The Call to Leadership;
• The Art of Team Building;
• Leadership Styles;
• Diversity - Crossing Borders, Breaking Barriers;
• Communication and Conflict Management;
• Building Bridges to Prosperity - Women's Career Development; and
  
• Reflection and Synthesis - Call to Leadership.
