IE3 Global Internships Collaborative Training

IE3 Global Internships held a conference, International Internships: Capstones of a Global Education, with presentations on various aspects of full-time, professional internships abroad, presented by representatives of six regional universities as well as global employers, and international nonprofit organizations.

Objectives

• Introduce and review IE3 Global Internships as a collaborative model and international internship program provider
• Organize partners to present information and share expertise in a collaborative training format
• Develop regional standards for international internships
• Share resources and strategies among partners who advise, administer, and support student interns
• Discuss strategies to leverage the international intern's experience on the home campus and in the international job search
• Review best practices
