Agenda for China SIG Meeting at 2008 Annual Conference
Greetings to NAFSA China SIG Members!
Our annual meeting will be held on Wednesday, May 28th, from 1:45 PM - 3:00 PM at the Washington Renaissance Hotel, Meeting Room 8.
Here is a proposed 2008 China SIG Meeting Agenda:
* Review of last year's activities
* Updates on educational developments in China
* Proposals for 2008-2009 Activities
* Nominations for Committee Officers
Nominations (including self-nominations) are welcome for the following China SIG officer positions:
* Activities Committee Coordinator
* Fundraising Committee Coordinator
* Membership Committee Coordinator
Candidates should submit a short statement expressing their interest in an officer position as well as a brief bio. Nominees will be announced at the China SIG meeting at the 2008 NAFSA Conference in Washington, DC.
For your reference, the following NAFSA sessions may be of interest:
May 29 -- Thur. 9:15-10:15am: Asian Study Opportunities: What Taiwan Can Share with US Partners
May 29 -- Thur. 2-3:15pm: Educational Globalization Trends in China
May 30 -- Fri. 8-9:15am: Development of New Higher Education Institutions in China
