Chair, International Education Leadership Knowledge Community (IEL)

The chair identifies symposia themes appropriate to the IEL audience, identifies speakers, reviews marketing materials and provides NAFSA with guidance on improvement of programs. We look for a two-year commitment to this position. We estimate the position may require two hours per week, with the most busy times occurring around specific programming events in spring and fall. Attendance is expected at the Washington Leadership Meeting (late January) and leadership meetings on the Sunday and Monday prior to the NAFSA annual conference (late May). Attendance at the Conference Symposium on Leadership and the Washington Symposium is critical.
