Professional Network Leader, Research and Scholarship Network

The Research/Scholarship (RS) Professional Network Leader provides oversight and coordination of the network Web pages, the primary vehicle of the Teaching, Learning, and Scholarship knowledge community (TLS) for disseminating knowledge and information about international education research issues, including bibliographies, databases, methodologies, and trends. The portfolio includes the continued development and management of resources and discussions. In addition to the responsibilities common to all network managers, the RS network manager sits on the national TLS team and must also demonstrate:

• Familiarity with research (current and historical) related to international education
• Knowledge of research methodologies, data collection, analysis, and tools
• Ability to think in terms of both theory and application
