Committed to building the skills, knowledge, and competencies of its members, NAFSA strengthens international education's biggest asset—the dedicated professionals worldwide who make educational mobility possible.

NAFSA provides professional training, international education publications, including the award-winning International Educator magazine, 16 online professional networks, and the Adviser's Manual for those who advise international students and scholars.


Annual Conference & Expo

NAFSA's Annual Conference & Expo attracts more than 8,000 attendees from 120 countries each year and is widely recognized as the world's premier meeting, networking, and learning opportunity for international educators.


Engagement

NAFSA's work is accomplished through a strong volunteer effort of hundreds of international professionals on campuses and in organizations in the United States and around the world. Combined with NAFSA's professional staff of 65, located in Washington, DC, this volunteer involvement ensures relevant, timely services to the more than 3,500 institutions where NAFSA members do their work in international education.
