to NAFSA's 2008 Annual Conference tour program!
All tours will begin and end at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center
(L Street) except for evening tours which will depart from the Walter
E. Washington Convention Center and conclude at designated hotels.
Tour attendees will be able to pick up tour tickets at the on-site tour
desk during the hours that it is staffed (see below). Should an attendee
not be able to pick-up tickets during those times, the tickets will be
provided to the tour dispatcher for distribution at boarding.

Located in the entrance of the West Registration area at the Walter E.
Washington Convention Center.
If tour
minimums are not reached by Monday, May 5th, 2008. CSI reserves the right
to make substitutions or cancel the tour. All participants will be notified
of the cancellation prior to the tour and will receive a full refund of
monies paid.
The cut-off date for guests to cancel their participation in a tour is Monday, May 5th, 2008. Guests canceling prior to the cut-off date will receive a refund, less a $5.00 processing fee. Guests canceling after the cut-off date will not be entitled to a refund of any monies.

Magnificent
Monuments By Moonlight
Monday, May 26 and Thursday, May 29

Enjoy first
class treatment as you board the luxury motor coach for a moonlit tour of
the capital city. The first stop is at Lafayette Square, which offers a
superb view of the White House by moonlight. Your next stop will be the
beautifully illuminated Jefferson Memorial, where you will have the opportunity
to climb the marble steps to the temple that houses a breathtaking statue
of the third President. Finally, your tour will end at the Franklin Delano
Roosevelt Memorial a 7 and a half acre walking memorial that lies between
the Potomac River and the Tidal Basin, a true work of architectural genius.

Whirlwind Tour of Washington, DC
Monday, May 26 @ 2:00 p.m.–6:00 p.m.
Become a part of this nation’s most historic landscape and feel history come to life as you visit some of the country’s most beloved sites. As you travel along the National Mall you will see the famous Smithsonian Museums, the U.S. Holocaust Memorial Museum, the Bureau of Engraving and Printing, the Washington Monument and the Jefferson Memorial. Your first stop will be the Lincoln Memorial, where you will climb the marble steps to the temple that enshrines Abraham Lincoln’s likeness. From there you will take a short walk to the somber setting of the powerful Vietnam Veterans Memorial. No tour of Washington would be complete without a visit to the National World War II Memorial. At the end of the day, you will stop at Lafayette Square which offers superb views of the White House.
