Chua is the author of two extraordinary books. Amy Chua is the John M. Duff, Jr. Professor of Law at Yale Law School. She also has taught law at Duke, Stanford, and New York Universities. Chua held an International Affairs Fellowship at the Council on Foreign Relations in 1998-99. Before entering academics in 1994, she practiced with the Wall Street firm of Cleary, Gottlieb, Steen & Hamilton, where she worked on international transactions throughout Asia, Europe, and Latin America.
