Airport Information

There are two major airports that service the Houston area: George Bush Intercontinental Airport and Hobby Airport. Intercontinental Airport is approximately 30 minutes from downtown Houston. Hobby Airport is 20 minutes from downtown Houston. NAFSA conference attendees can receive a discount on shuttle service between the airport and downtown Houston with SuperShuttle. NAFSA’s discount code is 82Z22. No reservation is required to travel from the airport, but you must make a reservation for travel back to the airport. Traveling to Houston from Abroad

If you are not a U.S. citizen or U.S. permanent resident you may require a nonimmigrant visa to enter the United States. Nonimmigrant visas are for international travelers coming to the U.S. temporarily.
