The NAFSA Board of Directors passed a resolution on diversity to guide its work and the work of NAFSA leadership groups. NAFSA has since continued to commit resources to addressing diversity and underrepresentation in Education Abroad, including the creation of the Education Abroad Knowledge Community (EA KC) Diversity and Inclusion in Education Abroad Subcommittee.

Diversity/Underrepresentation in education abroad refers to student populations that are not highly represented. Below are highlighted resources for some of these groups. This list is reviewed periodically.  If you wish to submit a resource, please see the information at the bottom of this page.

The Education Abroad Knowledge Community Network (EA KC Network) is a discussion platform to share experiences, give and receive advice, and highlight resources across a range of education abroad topics from advising, to developing programs, to office administration, to funding and financing, to risk assessment, and health and safety.
