Australian Higher Education Seminar

The 2008 Application Process is Closed
Australian Education International North America (AEI NA) – the international arm of the Department of Education, Employment and Workplace Relations – in partnership with the American Association of Collegiate Registrars and Admissions Officers (AACRAO) and NAFSA: the Association of International Educators, are pleased to announce two Australian Higher Education Seminars.

Practitioner-level Seminar
The practitioner-level seminar will run from September 23 to October 8, 2008 and visit Canberra, Sydney, South Australia and Western Australia.

This two-week seminar will include an overview of the Australian educational system, including degree recognition and credit transfer, institutional visits, and networking opportunities with Australian academics, student services and international office staff.

Executive-level Seminar Cancelled
Please note that the executive-level seminar scheduled for October 11-19, 2008 has been cancelled due to scheduling and budget constraints. We apologize for any inconvenience, and would encourage interested participants to consider applying for the practitioner seminar.

Both seminars focus on building relationships between Australia and North America. Delegates will visit a range of academic institutions during the seminar.
