This webinar will focus on the basic design and facilitation of cross-cultural communication presentations with particular attention to the beginning trainer. Presenters will discuss some principles of workshop design and appropriate learning activities for a variety of audiences including university staff, faculty, students and community volunteers.
Marian Beane & Judy Case are associated with the Office of International Programs at UNC Charlotte where they are integrally involved in admin- istrative and program activity with and for international students and scholars. Marian is Director of the International Student/ Scholar Office and Judy is Director of Administration for the Office of International Programs.
Marian & Judy have presented workshops and training seminars on cross-cultural communication and understanding for a variety of audiences over the past 25 years. Participants have included NAFSAns and other educators, University staff and students, business personnel and community volunteers.
