New applications and innovative uses of technology have been implemented by a number of student and scholar services offices to solve common operational constraints. This webinar will highlight three different institutions that have developed strategic uses of technology in their offices.
Learn how technology applications and uses can:
Teri Albrecht,
Director of International Student & Scholar Services
The University of Texas at Austin
One of Teri's responsibilities is to coordinate both the priorities and the development of technology in order for ISSS to better serve the 4500 international students and 1200 international scholars at UT Austin. Teri is eager to share her office's experiences of technological developments as it relates to streamlining processes in international student and scholar services.
Audra D. Johnston
Assistant Director of the Office of International Students and Scholars
The University of Arkansas
She is primarily responsible for the SEVIS compliance and F-1 student advising functions of the office. Audra enjoys looking for ways to adapt and apply the best thinking and tools – including technology – to the work of foreign student advising.
William Snyder
Manager of Information Technology, International Programs
Purdue University
He has worked in the field of Information Technology in both the U.S. and South Korea for a combined seventeen years. He has been with Purdue for twelve years working within IT in such roles as end user support, systems administration, e-mail services, and network engineering.
