Preparing Globally Competent Teachers: NAFSA’s background paper for CAEP Commissioners

Working with David M. Moss, associate professor, Neag School of Education, University of Connecticut, and Jennifer Manise, executive director, Longview Foundation for Education in World Affairs and International Understanding, in September 2012, NAFSA authored a paper for commissioners of the Council for the Accreditation of Educator Preparation (CAEP), accrediting body for colleges of education, outlining the critical importance of internationalizing teacher education.
