Immigration Tools for the 2012 NAFSA Annual Conference & Expo

May 21, 2012

Tools to Get the Most Out of Immigration Sessions at the 2012 NAFSA Annual Conference & Expo in Houston, Texas

Visit NAFSA's Immigration at the Conference Portal Page for immigration updates and an overview of the conference sessions focusing on U.S. immigration matters. Use it to plan your annual conference schedule and become conversant with the immigration topics that are on people's minds. In prior years, this information has been delivered in a single session at the beginning of the conference, and if you missed it, you missed out.

This year we'll be presenting virtually instead, so you can prepare for the conference in advance. Resources include: printable lists of immigration sessions and workshops; a narrated immigration update presentation; a detailed immigration update handout; a handy immigration session notebook to keep track of what you learn at the sessions, and a glossary of acronyms, terms, and concepts. Visit www.nafsa.org/ac12immigration now!

And while in Houston, take a moment to visit with agency representatives at the DHS Pavilion in the Expo Hall!

New International Student and Scholar Regulatory Practice Committee Web Page
NAFSA's International Student and Scholar Regulatory Practice Committee (ISS-RP) is charged with identifying regulatory practice issues that need action through government agency liaison by NAFSA staff, or team members as requested by staff. Read more about this committee on its new Web page and participate in its work through NAFSA's Web-based tool for reporting immigration issues and trends, IssueNet's Report an Issue....
