Benefits of a Professional Network

Professional networks (networks) provide a central location for the resources, information, and communication opportunities you need to be an effective international educator.

All visitors can view the information in each network and see Discussion Forum topics. Logging into the NAFSA site allows you to browse Discussion Forum threads. Once you subscribe to a network, you can set the frequency of e-mail notification of new items of interest, as well as post questions and responses in the Discussion Forums.

Events and Training Learn about workshops, conferences, and other events most relevant to your network(s).	Publications Browse publications most relevant to your network(s).
Network Subscribers Identify colleagues who share similar professional responsibilities and indicate your interest in this area of international education.

The Document Library stores publications and other materials that can be browsed and sorted by document type, category, date, description, and title. If you don't find what you need in these areas, visit the Discussion Forums to search the archives or post a new topic.

Check the What's New box in the network. Set your Network Preferences to receive announcements by e-mail. Check the Most Recent Forum Posts box to see what topics are current. Participate in the Discussion Forums.
