10 Misconceptions About Study Abroad

The 10 Misconceptions brochure was created by BASAA: New England Area Education Abroad Community members as a resource to help remove some of the perceived barriers to studying abroad for use by education abroad offices/centers, as well as for other campus collaborators such as Financial Services, Academic Advising, Career Offices, etc.

Some common uses of the 10 Misconceptions brochure are using the text on your Web site, displaying or distributing at a study abroad fair, and distributing at information sessions and other relevant workshops.

The document is available as a Word document. You are invited to use it as-is or you may edit the text to fit the specific policies and procedures of your campus.
