Internationalizing the Institution: Prerequisites, Vision, Organization, Budget, and Culture

There is no best model for organizing and supporting the internationalization of a higher education institution. Choice of model depends on institutional mission and campus culture as well as on the breadth and depth of the institution’s vision for internationalization. A few key issues help to frame the scope of the vision and the breadth and depth of campus commitment needed.
