National Endowment for the Humanities
International dimensions of the humanities can be supported through the National Endowment of the Humanities (NEH) through such programs as the challenge grants, fellowships and faculty research, curriculum development, summer seminars and institutes, translation projects and special program categories that encourage the understanding of the humanities in designated countries.

The National Security Education Program (NSEP)

USAID
The United States Agency for International Development (USAID) extends assistance to countries for economic growth, agriculture and trade; health; and democratic development, conflict prevention and humanitarian assistance.
