Financial Aid Resource for International Education

This document is one of several new Web-based resources called NAFSA e-Publications. E-Publications offer special features including Web pages, downloadable and printable PDFs, and customized tools.

Financial aid is perhaps the largest barrier students face when studying outside their home countries. This financial aid resource is designed to help both students and the international education professionals who work with them.

NAFSA will update these pages regularly so that students and professionals may continue to benefit from the most recent and comprehensive information available.

About the Editor

Stacy Johnston is a high school counselor in suburban Philadelphia. She received her Master’s Degree in School Counseling from Arcadia University in 2004. While completing her graduate study, she served as a graduate assistant within Arcadia University’s Center for Education Abroad. An alumna of Beaver College (1996), Stacy worked for the Center for Education Abroad in a variety of roles, from work-study student to program coordinator. Stacy studied in England at the University of York and Lancaster University. She and her husband (also an alumnus of the College and of CEA) have supported Arcadia University’s commitment to international education by offering each semester since 1998 a small scholarship to an Arcadia student who wishes to study at either York or Lancaster University.
