Dear International student on OPT:

The Student and Exchange Visitor Program (SEVP), within the Department of Homeland Security, requested that schools ensure the accuracy of certain information in SEVIS for all students currently on O.P.T., optional practical training.

SEVP has requested that schools gather your employer’s name and address. Please go to the following link ) and fill in information about your current employer. If you are currently unemployed or waiting for your OPT approval, please indicate this in your reply.

As you may remember you are also required to report changes of address within 10 days of any move. This includes the period while you are on OPT. You may update address information by using .

We have a relatively short turn around time to provide this information to SEVP. Please respond quickly to our request. If you have questions about this message, please feel free to email questions to any of the student advising staff.
