Trends V Report (2007)

Produced by the European Universities Association (EUA) for the London Ministerial Conference, May 2007, Trends V Report (1.2m Icon PDF 16) shows progress made by Europe's universities in implementing Bologna reforms, and outlines the main challenges ahead.

According to the report, 82 percent of the institutions reporting stated that the three Bologna cycles are in place. As the report declares, "it no longer seems relevant to question whether or not structural reforms will take place, but rather to examine in greater depth how these reforms are being implemented."

More than 900 institutions contributed to the report, which covers the current status of:
  • Implementation of cycles
  • Tools of implementation
  • Student support and involvement
  • Quality assurance
  • Lifelong learning
  • New member countries
  • Future challenges
