Information About Educational Systems Around the World
This project provides links to useful web sites for information on educational systems around the world. It is designed for use by U.S. admissions officers and others needing information on educational systems. It is one activity of the Overseas Advising and Admissions - Credential Evaluation LIaison Project. The former ADSEC (the Admissions Section of NAFSA: Association of International Educators and the former OSEAS (the Overseas Advising) Professional Education Group formed a liaison relationship in 1997, with a main goal of assisting those with questions concerning foreign educational systems through a variety of means.
Overseas advisers are based at more than 400 U.S. educational advising centers around the world. They are the primary source of comprehensive, unbiased, and up-to-date information about all levels and aspects of the U.S. educational system and serve as a source of information on host-country educational institutions.
