Black & Multicultural Professionals in International Education (BMcPIE) SIG

Black & Multicultural Professionals in International Education (BMCPIE) is a membership interest group representing professionals in international education with specific emphasis on individuals of color and from various ethnic and diverse backgrounds.

The mission of the group is:

To promote the goals and the strategic plan of NAFSA by effectively advocating for international education at member institutions in conjunction with the members institutional missions.

 To provide opportunities for professional and personal growth/development in the key areas of international education. In this capacity BMCPIE serves a resource for networking and mentoring organization for new and seasoned professionals as well as individuals who desire to enter the field. To create an environment that will improve, enhance and promote a diverse membership base and leadership development within NAFSA.
