Middle East Interest Group (MEIG)

SIG Middle East The mission of the group is to see that sessions are provided on topics related to the Middle East (and North Africa) at NAFSA events. This SIG strives to be informed on developments in the Middle East (and North Africa) and share such information with NAFSAns to support their professional endeavors. The SIG provides a forum for those interested in furthering (North) American educational exchanges with Middle Eastern (and North African) institutions, and to develop resources that will inform both NAFSAns and the academic community about the special needs, problems, opportunities, and importance educational exchange with this region.
