"Our name is our mission,"says the unofficial motto of Student Success. By helping schools and organizations help students, Student Success provides research-driven, Internet-based programs that engage students on the intellectual, emotional, and social levels. Their Study Abroad Enhancement program is an assessment-driven toolkit featuring online videos, continual contact with students abroad, and followup testing over time. Student Success also offers Alcohol Abuse Prevention and Sexual Assault Prevention programs.

JAIST was founded in 1990 as the first independent national graduate school in Japan to carry out graduate education based on research at the highest levels in advanced science and technology. JAIST provides an educational and research environment for future leaders who will advance science and technology in global civil society. In their aims to contribute to the advancement of science and technology at the highest levels, JAIST accepts students from abroad, collaborates with visiting researchers, and holds international symposia.
